Kids 9-13 years old were invited to enter the Olympic Torch Celebration Essay Contest for a chance to win a fabulous prize pack, including tickets to the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration Night, Thursday, February 11, 2010.

The evening was filled with free family fun, and a Canada vs. USA hockey match between our local Junior B Black Panthers and the Minnesota Twin Cities Northern Lights.

To enter, kids were invited to write an essay on "What Peace Means." and essays needed to be 1,000 words or less.
