Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety
Provides information and advice about occupational health and safety, including safety hazards and ergonomics, as well as the legislation in this area.
Canadian Health Network
CHN is a national, non-profit, bilingual web-based health information service to help Canadians find the information on how to stay healthy and prevent disease. Put together by Health Canada and other national and provincial/territorial non-profit organizations.
Healthfinder
Developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and other agencies, healthfinder® links to carefully selected information and web sites from over 1,800 health-related organizations. Search for prevention & wellness, diseases & conditions, and alternative medicine — plus medical dictionaries, an encyclopedia, journals, and more. Also search by age, gender, ethnic origin and others.
KidsHealth
This project of the Nemours Foundation has separate entrances for parents, teens, and kids. For kids there are learning activities and games, for teens there are answers to all kinds of teenage questions, for parents there are articles on a variety of useful health topics.
